1. DOUBLEVIEW won the flag in 2009. The club won the flag in 2007 and runner up 2008 they have a stack of State squad members and still retain Dennis Katunarich, Robbie Ball  and Prickles Thorn on their list. Player losses are Kyle McIlroy and Cameron Tunstall, these losses have been offset with the recruitment of Gary Carberry and Jamie O`Keefe. Should be hard to beat once again and would start favourites

2. VICTORIA PARK were runner up to Doubleview in the 2009 Grand final and would be happy with the season they had and will be looking to go one better this season, we don't have any info regarding VP other than to say of the departure of Russell Hughes to Yokine. VP should be around the place at the end of the season and wil finish in the final four

3. MOSMAN PARK  were runner up to Morley in One White last season but have been very active wuth their recruiting and will be a force this season when we see the likes of Daniel Brown and Matt Ellul, both gun skips along with English International Robert Paxton coming on  board  should see them compliment the 16 to such an extent they will finish in the four.

4. OSBORNE PARK disappointed their fans by not finishing off the season on high after dominating the home and away games. They will be without Pat Cafell who is auguably the best third in the competition having been in the winning side some 40 out of around 50 games. Also the there is doubt as to when Gary Caffell will return to the side after injury. OP have made some ground to help cover these two losses with the recruitment of Rosenthal Medal winner Scott Edmonds and Kalamunda's Mitch Biglin. The Saints have enough firepower to make the four

5. WANNEROO another side who let themselves down missing an opportunity to make the finals. The Express finished 5th which was one position better than 2008. Player losses are Reg Humphryson, Sean Wright Brian Axford and Murray Hulbert. New players are Tim and Mike Murray who will add to the side no doubt. It will be intersting to see how this side lines up at the start of the season. Overall Wanneroo will struggle to make the four but capable of causing some greif to all sides

6 COCKBURN have lost more players, Daniel Brown, Gary Carberry, Alf Jones, John and Matt Trewhella and Perry Sardelic. That is a huge loss to the Roosters. They have picked up Daniel Wood and Joe Spadaro to help keep relegation at bay but do face testing times and will linger toward the bottom end of the table for the most part of the season

7. MORLEY were the best side in One White last season, things have been quite on the recruiting front, at this stage we are aware of only Murray Hulbert from Wanneroo, and a former Morley player being added to their list. The Morley Mavericks made a good go at it when they won promotion a couple of seasons back and were very competitive but the way things look for them they will be relegated once again

8. YOKINE did an amazing job to avoid relegation last season, things looked grim and the Doggies were certainties to be playing in One White this season but spirit and determination counteed for plenty and relegation was avoided.
The Doggies have recruited well with State Skip Russell Hughes coming on board as has Sean Wright from Wanneroo.
Player losses are Rosenthal medallist Scotty Edmonds, Joihn Carter, Adrian Durrant, Paul Harris, Jamie O`Keefe and Eddy Dodd who will not be coming down from Wonthella this season.
Yokine won't have enough kick to make the four but should make things hard for many teams this season, relegation not out of the question

9 Sth PERTH did a great job to make the finals last season but have since lost Matt Ellul, Steve Lunn and Scotty Walker. All is not lost for the Millers who recruited very well with Mark Pasalich, Adrian Durrant, Travis Vallance, Paul Harrison and John Carter. Most interesting will be how the team lines up to start the season, there are sure to be some disappointments for players not selected. Can the Millers improve on their good performance for the new season.
Fifth is about where I see them at seasons end

10. CAMBRIDGE finished 6th in season of disappointment after recruiting top quality players to the club in the belief that the would improve on their 2008 4th placing.
Many have left the Cambridge Knights, Aj Heal, Brian Katunarich, Mick McGann, Ron Stockton .and Bruce Edwards.
David Opie is unable to take his place due to injury and when he will be available is not known at this stage
Their second side won their way into One White but it would seem after such heavy player  losses from the first side  many of those  players will be called on to play in the top side
Won't make the four but will hang in there to avoid demotion

THIS SECTION IS ONE WHITE ----THE SECOND HIGHEST DIVISION

1. THORNLIE Disappointing is the only description for this club who promised so much but did not deliver after gaining so many good recruits. Will struggle to make the four

STIRLING Have done every thing but get promoted over the past two seasons. Things will change this season after reruiting Marko Krajanci to the club. The name Krajancic spells success and that combined with the recruitment of Shane Knott and Peter Maynard should see Stirling at last win the promotion they have been striving for, for so long

3.BASSENDEAN won their way back into One White but were found out somewhat when they were dismantled by a brilliant Kardinya 16 in the Grand Final. The club is too reliant on Justin Opie, if he has a bad season Bassendean will have a bad season.

4 OSBORNE WHITE did well to finish in the top four and wern't a long way off the pace for most of the season, the Saints haven't lost any players and with the list they have should be there abouts again

5. KALAMUNDA dropped out of the Premier League after looking like they could stave off demotion, they have a strong list and will up there at the end of the season

KARDINYA returned to One White after being the best side in One Blue by a country mile. They start the new season with a new uniform and a ton of expectation

7. WANNEROO WHITE found the going tough in One white last season but came home with a flourish to save themselves from relegation, could be the big improvers

8. MANNING are an unknown quantity, it has been a long time between drinks for the Eagles, they should won promotion a couple of years back. Could surprise

9. CAMBRIDGE WHITE  have done well winning promotion and the flag in their previous divisions, heavy player losses to the main side will see the strength of this successful side diminished, Can't see them being in the top sides

10.DALKEITH dropped out of the Premier League, they were just out of their depth last season but will be hard to beat even tho they have lost a lot of players, should make the finals
