PREMIER LEAGUE

A champion side that lost only 4 games for the season, I remember saying at the start of the season that if this rink did not win 12 games it would not have lived up to the ability they possess. They have done more than that in a season that saw only 17 games played instead of 18.

Congratulation to the Osborne Park rink of Daniel Trewhella who were the best performed rink in the Premier League. A feat that is not easily acheivedtaking on all sides on many varying greens/carpets in very windy conditions, and boy werent they very windy on about 4/5 Saturdays

Congratulations to Geoff "Gelignite" Gould to be the top skip for the year alongwith his rink.
Who Knows what his record would have been if the selectors hadnt changed his successful rink in the last couple of games.
Must mention that Dalkeith's Peter "The Duke" Bacich also won 13 games but played one game less. Well done Duke

ONE BLUE NORTH

How good is this ? Wanneroo win the flag to show they are the best side from both Blue divisions. we also have them also providing the best performed rink in Blue North that of Doug Watson, to show how good the rink is they beat the gun rink from Hilton on Saturday in the Pennant final, that of David Opie who was the skipper of the second best performed rink in One Blue South, winning 22/21
