Geoff Ellis won the best player of the 2010 series held at the Manning Bowling Club. We saw the Mailman playing at the top of his game bar for one game on the 1st day of the series against the ACT. Against Victoria he played a magnificent drawshot game playing threee and was best performed in that particular match. He also was among the spectators favourite to poll well

Colin O`Brien led in this series came second in the voting, he also was outstanding in the game against the Vics.

Tony Krajancic played in his first series for the West and aquitted himself very well to take 3rd place in the voting.

SOME WHO CAUGHT THE EYE

Perhaps the unlucky player to not figure in the voting was Henry Slawinski playing as a two for Prickles Thorn. The talk among the spectators being he was extremely good in most of the games he had played and often recieved praise from his skip after most of his games.

Another player who had an outstanding series was Wings Evans, last years winner and in this year displayed often he is a player of class.

Geoff White playing for the first time was impressive and showed he was more than worthy of his selection

Tony Krajancic had to play well in his game against Barry Close, while Tony's side were playing terrific bowls and seemingly winning their respective positions.

It was Victorian skipper Barry Close (pictured with Tony) who often got a bowl in the head to cut the count down or get shot, often it was hard to get out of the head.
