One White Prediction

October 28, 2006
After quickly looking at the clubs to compete in this season’s Division One White, it appears to me that nine of the ten teams have a realistic chance of making up the top four. Unfortunately Innaloo with it’s depletion in ranks may struggle. However in the past we have all been proven wrong and it will be up to the team at Innaloo to show heart and to use a cliché be “the fight in the dog” and not “the dog in the fight”.

I will preview games at regular intervals throughout the season but this will become an easier task as I start to see the format of the teams after a round or two.

Sticking my neck out at this early stage before a bowl has even been delivered, I predict the top four in no particular order will be – Kalamunda, North Beach, Gosnells and Morley.

Warwick will be a handful for many clubs as will Safety Bay on their home greens.

Kardinya, Thornlie and Scarborough will all be capable on their day and I hope Innaloo will stand up and be counted considering their mass exodus.

All the best to every player.
