Kardinya with a 6-2 aggregate away from home on the Gosnells greens will give them the momentum to get off to an early season flyer.

Thornlie must be on cloud nine after travelling to North Beach and coming away with a clean sweep. But we must remember only one round has been completed.
Teams have to settle, players have to plead with selectors and greens are still slowish.
Warwick will be happy with their first appearance in 1 White with a 7-1 result over Innaloo, considering one of the hardest skippers in the league to beat – John Mather was rolled.
Scarborough had a steady win at home over Safety Bay with Hugh McKay and Ron Kuziela showing the way. However Safety Bay would be happy with 2 away points. Look for Matt Massari to win more than he loses this season.

A good aggregate for Kalamunda over the strong Morley 16. The Neil Payne rink showed no mercy on the brother of Sherro. Morley will settle and be a force to reckon with.
